Abstract: MAJOR ISSUES IN STRUCTURE DESIGN AND STRENGTH CALCULATION OF TUBULAR HEAT EXCHANGER [1] Feng Qingxiao , Xie Zhigang , Sang Rubao （ SINOPEC Engineering Incorporation, Beijing , 100101） Abstract： Although there are many detailed provisions for the design of tubular heat exchanger in GB/T151-2014 Heat exchangers, there are also many problems to be solved in specific design, such as whether it＇s necessary to check the stress on the cylinder, the requirements for baffle cut and surge plate arrangement, setting principles for tie rod fixed end, the relationship between the expansion joints and the bearing ,the impact of separator tank gasket, the impact of tube bundle weight on the tube plate as well as how to deal with the design of the structures that are not covered in the standard.
