Optimization of Design Management of Large Ethylene Projects in Private Enterprises

Abstract: With the development of private enterprises to the upstream of petrochemical industry, large-scale ethylene projects built by private enterprises are gradually increasing. This paper analyzes the characteristics and difficulties of implementing large-scale ethylene projects in private enterprises and the necessity of strengthening equipment design management. Meanwhile, the paper takes such measures as adopting PDCA cycle management method, value engineering theory and standardized, integrated and modular design means to optimize equipment design management in an ethylene project. These measures can provide reference for the design management of large ethylene projects constructed by private enterprises.
