Abstract: Gas turbines in petrochemical enterprises are closely connected with process systems, and their operational reliability is crucial to the normal production of petrochemical enterprises. If the gas turbine is shut down due to a fault, it will not only affect the balance of upstream and downstream materials, but also affect the stability of high-pressure steam pipe network in the enterprises. Through analyzing the causes of gas turbine shutdown, this paper found out the root causes of the failure and put forward appropriate improvement plan for a certain system or components of the gas turbines. Meanwhile, it summarized corresponding measures for operation and maintenance. These helped to improve the operational reliability of the gas turbines effectively and ensured the normal production of the enterprises. The system and component improvement plans described in this paper and the summarized operating experience are of big reference to the operation and management of gas turbines in other related enterprises.
