Industrial Application of Large-scale Suspending Downcomer Trays for Xylene Column

摘要: 利用Aspen Plus模拟软件对应用于芳烃装置二甲苯塔的大型悬挂式降液管塔板分离性能和塔板效率进行了计算,并进一步结合塔内气液相负荷的模拟计算结果逐段分析了影响塔板效率的因素。模拟结果显示:在83.4%总进料负荷条件下,全塔板效率可达到72.0%;在97.5%进料负荷条件下,实际塔内气相负荷超过设计值的110%,液相负荷为设计值的113%~135%,全塔板效率仍然可达75.2%。悬挂式降液管塔板效率与塔板上液体分布均匀程度密切相关,后者主要受到进料分配器对液体的初分布均匀度以及塔板受液区导流作用的影响。较低液相负荷条件下,精馏塔上段塔板效率容易受到液相分布不均匀影响,导致局部的塔板效率降低。

Abstract: Separation performance and tray efficiency of large-scale suspending downcomer trays for xylene column have been calculated by Aspen Plus. Influence on tray efficiency has been studied, considering the calculated result of gas and liquid loadings in the column. The simulation results show that the total tray efficiency can reach 72.0% under 83.4% feed loading condition; the total tray efficiency can reach 75.2% under 97.5% feed loading condition. The real gas loading in the column is over 110% of designed loading, while the liquid loading is about 113~135% of designed loading. Distribution of liquid on trays significantly affects the efficiency of suspending downcomer trays. Uneven distribution of liquid on trays may induce a lower tray efficiency under the condition of lower liquid loading. Feed distributor and directing baffles installed on tray deck can make distribution of liquid more uniform.
