摘要: PTA精制结晶器作为PTA装置的主流程设备,其机械密封的可靠性对整个装置的稳定运行有直接影响。文章对某PTA装置精制结晶器机械密封失效的原因进行分析,并采用有限元软件对机械密封结构改进和优化前后的状况进行模拟,了解其动、静环温度场和变形情况。根据模拟分析结果对机械密封的结构进行了改进,有效降低了零部件,特别是动、静环处的环境温度,改善了密封润滑条件,解决了原机械密封的失效问题。

Abstract: As the main process equipment of PTA plant, the reliability of the mechanical seal of PTA purification crystallizer has a direct impact on the stable operation of the whole plant. This paper analyzed the causes of mechanical seal failure in the purification crystallizer of a PTA plant. And finite element software was adopted to simulate the conditions of the mechanical seal before and after the structural improvement and optimization so as to know the temperature field and deformation of the dynamic and static rings. According to the results of the simulation analysis, the structure of the mechanical seal was improved. This has effectively reduced the ambient temperature of the components, especially the dynamic and static rings, improved the seal lubrication conditions and solved the failure problem of the original mechanical seal.
