Optimization of Oil Weir Plate Height of the Oil-Gas-Water Three-Phase Separator in Chengdao Oilfield

摘要: 油气水三相分离器是油田高含水原油处理的重要生产设备。采用 FLUENT 软件,对埕岛油田某中心平台三相分离器3.50、3.30、3.25、3.15和3.00m 共5种油堰板高度下的分离效果进行模拟仿真,获得相应的分离器内部油-气-水三相的速度场以及三相浓度分布图,分析了不同油堰板高度下的分离效果,并根据气出口、油出口、水出口的气、油、水的浓度分布,确定了油、气、水分离效果满足生产指标要求的优选油堰板高度为3.30m。研究表明:分离器油堰板高度影响分离器的分离效果。调整油堰板高度,在保障分离效果的同时可解决分离器高液位触发报警的问题。

Abstract: The oil-gas-water three-phase separator is an important production equipment for the treatment of high water-content crude oil in oilfield. FLUENT software was used to simulate the separation effect of the separators with different weir plate heights of 3.50 m, 3.30 m, 3.25 m, 3.15 m and 3.00 m respectively at a central platform in Chengdao Oilfield. The velocity fields of oil-gas-water phases and the concentration distribution chart of three phases inside the separators were obtained, and the separation effect at different oil weir plate heights was analyzed. According to the concentration distribution of gas, oil and water at the gas, oil and water outlets, the preferred oil weir plate height to meet the production index requirements for oil, gas and water separation was determined to be 3.30 m. The research shows that the oil weir plate height of separators affects the separation effect of the separators. Adjusting the height of the oil weir plate can solve the problem of high water alarm triggering in the separators and ensure the separation effects as well.
