Discussion on Type Selection and Optimization of BOG Compressor

摘要: 结合国内低温罐区项目大型化的发展趋势,指出了作为BOG处理关键设备的BOG压缩机逐步大型化的发展方向。从使用条件入手,分析了低温往复式结构作为BOG压缩机首选的必然性,并从多方面对卧式平衡型往复压缩机和立式迷宫式往复压缩机进行了对比分析和更深层次的选型优化探讨。最后,结合BOG压缩机的开车流程和流量调节方案,从工艺操作角度进一步优化选型,为压缩机组的顺利开车和稳定可靠运行提供强有力的支撑。

Abstract: Combining with the trend of large-scale development of domestic cryogenic tank projects, this paper points out the development direction of the gradual upsizing of BOG compressor which is the key equipment for BOG processing. Starting with analyzing the using conditions, the paper analyzes the necessity of low temperature reciprocating structure as the first choice for BOG compressor. It also compares and analyzes the horizontal balance type and vertical labyrinth type reciprocating compressor from many aspects and makes further discussion on type selection and optimization. Finally, combining with the start-up process and flow regulation scheme of BOG compressor, type selection of the compressor is further optimized from the perspective of process operation, which provides strong support for the smooth start-up and stable and reliable operation of the compressor unit.
